WATERING

When should I water my ZZ plant?

Don’t be afraid to let the soil of your ZZ dry out between waterings. To see if your plant needs water, stick your finger about an inch down into the soil. If the soil feels dry, water. Do not water if the soil feels moist. Unsure? Check again in a few days.

Never mist your foliage. Misting leaves causes fungal issues and disease. The only plants that are okay to mist are ferns and carnivorous plants.

LIGHT NEEDS

Prefers medium indirect light but can tolerate low light conditions.

GROWTH

May grow up to 3 ft. tall.

SOIL NEEDS

Prefers well-drained soil or a cactus mix.

TEMPERATURE & HUMIDITY

It enjoys average humidity and adapts well to normal household temperatures.

FERTILIZING

Fertilize March through October with an all-purpose plant food. Prune as needed. To help it grow optimally and evenly, occasionally dust the leaves, and rotate the pot by a ¼ turn once a month.
