Welcome to SPRING! There may be snow on your lawn but don’t let that fool you. We’ve had many customers come into the nursery wondering why raccoons are digging up their lawn. Snow and grubs don’t usually go together, but this year they do. Due to warmer than usual soil temperatures the grubs you didn’t eliminate last fall are working their way up in your soil now and are up more than usual for this date.

Although we recommend August as the best time to control grubs, if you see signs of grub damage now a spring application of grub control may help save your lawn. Come into our Solutions Center in the garden department to get the help you need for this problem.
