Game of Gardens
WHAT TO expect
This year’s imaginative theme transforms beloved games into breathtaking garden landscapes, from whimsical board game–inspired paths to classic yard games, a vibrant candy kingdom, a strategic Chess garden, and adventurous escapes.
Wander through thousands of blooms and lush greenery. Every turn reveals larger-than-life florals, creative design, and joyful surprises for all ages. It’s a playful, immersive experience that celebrates creativity, nostalgia, and the magic of gardens. While winter lingers outside, spring is in full, spectacular bloom inside – only at Hicks Nurseries.
Created by our award-winning Hicks Landscapes Design/Build team, our Flower & Garden Show is planned a year in advance with meticulous preparation. The shows typically include over 5,000 plants and 250 different varieties.
Plant material is timed to bloom during the entire course of the flower show giving you a chance to explore the gardens numerous times and find something unexpected with each visit. Come explore and be inspired.
Plant a Pea: Free
Little gardeners will love getting their hands dirty as they plant their very own pea seed. Kids can fill a cup with soil, plant a pea, and take it home to care for it and watch with excitement as it sprouts and grows.
The Scavenger Hunt: Free
Turn your flower show visit into an adventure! Kids and adults alike can search for hidden treasures; unique plants, secret accents, and surprises tucked throughout the gardens. Pick up a scavenger hunt sheet inside the show and see if you can find them all. It’s a fun, interactive way to explore every corner of Game of Gardens while discovering details you might otherwise miss.
LEGO® Make-and-Take Workshops
Presented by Bricks & Minifigs® – West Babylon
Let your child’s imagination bloom at the 2026 Flower & Garden Show, Game of Gardens, with a hands-on LEGO® building workshop. Kids can design, build, and take home their very own LEGO® creation.
