A good rule of thumb when choosing the size of an outdoor table is to provide each person with 28 inches of space. We have tables that will fit up to 10 people.

Many of our outdoor furniture collections offer customization options. You can mix and match tables, chairs, finishes, and cushions to create a personalized look. Custom patio furniture is available in-store, where our team can guide you through all options.

Yes. We have an extensive selection of UV-protected and water-resistant cushions in various print, pattern and solid fabric options – all in-stock and ready to take home. We can also custom order for you from Sunbrella®, Outdura® and O’Bravia®.

Sunbrella® fabrics are highly durable, water resistant and fade resistant. They are easy to wash, extremely low maintenance and mold/mildew resistant.

Our in-store availability includes auto-tilt and cantilever Sunbrella® patio umbrellas and bases from Treasure Garden and Sunline. You can also shop online for a curated selection of auto-tilt patio umbrellas in 8×10 rectangular, 9 ft. round and 11 ft. round sizes.

Yes, we can custom order an umbrella in the outdoor fabric that best complements your home. Customization options are only available in-store.

Yes. We offer white glove truck delivery on all furniture sets which includes full assembly, placement and removal of boxes.  We deliver to Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau County and Suffolk County.

If the pieces are in-stock, it typically takes about 1-2 weeks for delivery.

The size of furniture sets requires a commercial truck and special handling, however, we can arrange for in-store pick-up of smaller furniture, fire pits, chimeneas and umbrellas.

You can be rest assured that outdoor furniture purchased at Hicks Nurseries will not rust. Our quality outdoor furniture sets are made of either cast aluminum, teak or 100% recycled HDPE plastic and backed by manufacturer warranties.

Outdoor furniture may be cleaned with mild soapy water as needed. We suggest you store your cushions when they are not in use. Cover your furniture in the winter with patio furniture covers.

To clean your cushions:

1. Brush off loose dirt.
2. Spray on a cleaning solution of water and mild soap.
3. Use a soft bristle brush to clean.
4. Allow cleaning solution to soak into the fabric.
5. Rinse thoroughly until all soap residue is removed.
6. Air dry.

All outdoor furniture purchased at Hicks Nurseries is covered by industry leading manufacturer warranties. Please see a sales associate for additional information as warranties vary by manufacturer and by material type i.e. fabric, metal, etc.

If you are not satisfied with your outdoor furniture or patio umbrella, you have 3 days from the time of delivery to communicate your intent to return. Returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. After the 3-day period, outdoor furniture and patio umbrellas are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

Custom Orders

Custom furniture orders are not returnable to Hicks Nurseries. Any changes to a custom order must be made within 24-hours of placing the initial order. All custom orders are covered by the manufacturer’s guarantee.
