ABOUT YUCCA CANE

The easy to grow Yucca Cane is a great choice for new plant parents and experienced growers alike. Showing off its green sword-like foliage on thick, upright canes, the plant makes a bold statement.

Over time, Yucca Cane can reach several feet tall, making it a dramatic addition to any space. It’s a fantastic companion to other houseplants such as monstera, dieffenbachia and palms.

WATERING

When should I water my Yucca Cane plant?

To see if your Yucca Cane needs water, stick your finger about an inch down into the soil. If it feels dry, water. Do not water if the soil feels moist. Unsure? Check again in a few days.

Never mist your foliage. Misting leaves causes fungal issues and disease. The only plants that are okay to mist are ferns and carnivorous plants.

LIGHT NEEDS

Yucca Cane prefers bright indirect sunlight.

FERTILIZING

Fertilize Yucca Cane March through October with an all-purpose houseplant food. To help it grow optimally and evenly, occasionally dust the leaves, and rotate the pot by a ¼ turn once a month. Prune only when needed.

According to the ASPCA Yucca Cane is toxic to dogs, cats and horses.
