HOW DOES IT WORK?

Give a Plant. Get a Plant.

Become part of the indoor gardening community! Trade indoor plants or cuttings, get plant care tips by the experts at Hicks and meet like-minded plant lovers.

Participants can bring up to ten (10) pest-free houseplants and/or cuttings to trade or give away. For the summer Plant Swap & Sip event, outdoor plants can also be traded.

There will be negotiation tables and a free table.

FREE TABLE:  If you want to give away a plant you can no longer take care of, please drop it off at the free table so it can find a new home. Plant Swap Attendees: Please be courteous and take only one plant from the free table.

The summer Plant Swap & Sip includes free refreshments!

TIPS

  • In order to participate in the event, you must bring plants to swap 🙂
  • Arrive on time to set up and view what other people have so you are prepared to negotiate.
  • Tag/label your plants so it’s clear what you’re offering.
  • Offer trades that are comparable in desirability/value.
  • Most important: make friends and have fun!
