HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Plant Swap is a free event hosted by Hicks Nurseries that fosters community, friendship and fun! Participants get to meet like-minded plant lovers, trade plants and learn.
This is our 4th Plant Swap and first during summer so we have some surprises for you!
Participants can bring up to five (5) pest-free* indoor or outdoor plants or various cuttings, to trade or give away. There will be negotiation tables and a free table.
If you want to give away a plant, bring it to the free table, where you are welcome to take a plant as well. We ask you to be courteous and take one plant only.
Free summer refreshments will be provided!
* Plants must be pest free. They will be inspected at check-in. Entry will be refused to anyone that does not comply.

Our plant experts will be on hand to answer any questions you have about the care and maintenance of your indoor and outdoor plants. As plant lovers ourselves, we want to make sure your plants thrive and you experience all the benefits plants provide.
TIPS
- For the best experience, arrive no later than 4pm to set up and view what other people have brought to trade so you are prepared to negotiate and swap.
- Tag/label your plants so it’s clear what you’re offering.
- Offer trades that are comparable in desirability and value.
- Take pics at our step & repeat and share with us on social @hicksnurseries
- Most importantly, have fun!
