It’s cold and raining outside today. It was over 70 degrees last week and it’s supposed to go down to near 30 degrees later this week. Customers ask us, “How will this weather affect my plants?” Don’t worry your established plants will be fine. This “crazy” weather is not uncommon in the spring and has no lasting bad effects on your plants. Some may look unhappy but it’s only temporary. Even newly planted early season vegetables like kale will easily recover as the weather improves. April is right around the corner and with it improving weather. Days like today are a great day to plan your garden and make your list of what you will need.
