Winter is the perfect time of year to begin thinking about your garden and how to improve upon it next Spring. It’s also a great time to focus on your houseplants and the many benefits they provide during the cold, dreary months of January and February.
Join us for our Winter Seminar Series, where we’ll cover everything from how to make your orchids bloom to how to best prune trees and shrubs, add color to the landscape and why impatiens are still not the best choice for your garden. All seminars are free and reservations are not required.
Our 2016 Winter Workshops include the option for children to make a pine cone bird feeder and create a planter for Valentine’s Day. Adults are welcome to get their hands dirty during our houseplant workshop where they will create an indoor planter with three small houseplants and one flowering kalanchoe.
“Anyone who thinks gardening begins in the spring and ends in the fall is missing the best part . . . for gardening begins in January, with the dream.” –Josephine Nuese.
