On Saturday, September 17th, 2016 Hicks Nurseries was designated a historic landmark by the Village of Westbury, New York. The official marker can be found just west of the Hicks Nurseries sign on Jericho Turnpike.

The nursery, founded by Isaac Hicks in 1853, is one of six landmarks located on the Heritage Trail in the Village of Westbury.
